Cleanings

Even with the best brushing and flossing, over time stains and hard deposits form on the teeth. These hard deposits are called calculus. For some people, calculus forms very quickly within 3 months, and for others it takes longer. Our expert hygienists are trained to remove these deposits in the most gentle and effective way possible. Cleaning appointments are also good opportunities to review your overall oral health and answer any questions you might have. It feels great to have a bright, clean, and healthy smile, and we look forward to keeping your teeth in the best shape possible!

When you come in for a check-up, our team can help select a cleaning frequency that is right for you.

Dental Fillings

White Fillings

What does a cavity feel like? In the first stages of a cavity, often people will experience cold sensitivity. Later on people can experience sensitivity to heat or even to something sweet. These symptoms alone do not guarantee that you have a cavity, however they can be an indicator that it is a good time to stop by and get a check-up. If it is established that you have a cavity a white filling is often the treatment of choice.  Regular check-ups help us find quick and easy solutions that will work for you.

Orthodontics

Invisalign - Alternative to Metal Braces

Patients frequently ask if there is an alternative to traditional metal braces and we always suggest Invisalign as a great option. Invisalign allows our patients to achieve straighter teeth while still enjoying a bracket-free smile. Aligner trays are produced using a BPA-free plastic and custom made to fit your smile while gently shifting your teeth over time. All you need to do to enjoy your favorite food and drinks is remove your aligners before eating and make sure to brush your teeth before putting them back on. You are also able to brush and floss as usual without worrying about working around wires and metal brackets.is

Dental Crowns & Bridges

Crowns are used to restore a normal appearance and shape to the selected tooth. Crowns are commonly used to cover a tooth that has had a root canal, restore a broken tooth, hold a dental bridge in place, or protect a week tooth. Permanent crowns can last a lifetime if taken care of properly.

Bridges allow dentists to replace a missing tooth. A false tooth is place between two crowns and then cemented together. Once the cement has set the bridge is permanent and can only be removed by a dentist.

Dentures & Partial Dentures

Dentures are removable teeth designed to replace missing teeth. Depending on how many natural teeth you still have, our dental team will either recommend full or partial dentures. We take pride in creating our dentures to match your existing teeth, so they will blend in. Dentures require daily oral hygiene and our staff will go over the recommended cleaning process.

Patients may be asked to choose between a “conventional” or “immediate” denture if they are getting a complete set.

Teeth Whitening

Teeth Whitening can be achieved either by visiting our office or by using custom made trays at home. Our teeth can become stained overtime by smoking and consuming certain beverages like tea and coffee. While whitening will remove stains and brighten your smile it is important to continue practicing proper dental hygiene.

Porcelain Veneers

Veneers are most commonly made of porcelain and are bonded to the front of teeth to change their shape and/or color. Veneer are a good choice to repair chipped teeth or permanently stained teeth. Veneers are custom made to the shape of your tooth/teeth and will require multiple visits to complete the process.

General Dentistry

Root Canal Therapy

Root canals are common dental procedures with millions of teeth each year having the procedure done on them. We recommend this procedure when a tooth has become decayed or badly infected. If the damaged tooth is left untreated an abscess may form causing the surrounding gums can become infected.

The treatment for a root canal will, on average, take 2 visits to be completed. A local anesthesia will be used to ensure that there is minimal pain, or discomfort, associated with the procedure.
